When did you first start attending Northeast and why did you stay? I was given a popsicle the first time I attended.  I was in the second grade.    I just keep coming back for more popsicles.

What’s your idea of a perfect day? Quiet morning, physically demanding  afternoon, dancing at night…followed by a slice of pie.

What was your first step in getting involved at Northeast? I was invited to volunteer when I was an eighth grader.  I switched out the overhead transparencies for the children’s worship.  It was awesome!

What has God been teaching you lately?  That I’m not the one doing the saving…

If you could ask God one question, what would it be?  Seriously, you couldn’t have carved a tiny bit of coastal waters into Kentucky?

If you could be on a reality TV show, what would it be? Amazing Race.

What or who makes you laugh?  Smart One Liners.

What is your nickname, and how did you earn it?  The Northeast Sweetheart?  Because I am…

In a few short lines, here is my faith story… I’m a loser.  God can still use me.  Evidently I’m the perfect person to help him on a few of his projects.

What is your favorite…

·     Time of day? Mornin’

·     Movie?  Lord of the Rings Tril.

·     Websites?  Worshiphousekids.com; dooce.com

·     Book (besides the Bible)?  Walden.  Henry David Thereau

·     Word or catchphrase?  Good luck with that…

·     Sport/Team? UL

·     Vacation place? Upper Peninsula, MI

·     Types of music? Regina Spektor, the Welcome Wagon, Coldplay, Neil Diamond…

Describe your job at Northeast, and why you love what you do. I organize & create the Bible Teaching time for Preschoolers & Elementary children.  What’s not to love?   My briefcase is filled with paint, duct tape, electric saws, and exploding golf balls.

How long have you been working at Northeast? I joined the staff in 2000

Retirement dream?  I’m a GenX’er.  We don’t retire.

What was your first job?  I was a chicken skinner for a restaurant.  I was fired after too many chickens shot out of my hands across the kitchen.  Those are some slippery little birds!

What’s one goal you have for the next year? Own my Home.

Name 3 things on your ‘bucket’ list. Again…too young to know what this is.  I’ll have to ask Bob.

One Hottie Husband, Andrew.  A 3 year old Baby Jesus and a 1 year old Gerber Baby.
