Starting Point
We offer a membership class called Starting Point throughout the year.  We realize that when people show up at Northeast, they are coming from a variety of backgrounds.  We have learned over the years that people who are interested in being a member of Northeast are asking different questions based on where they are coming from.

We have designed two versions of our Starting Point class:

1. STARTING POINT FOR THE CURIOUS - this three week class is designed for those who are new to church, coming to Northeast from a different church background or who are returning to church after a number of years.

Attend Starting Point for the Curious if …
•    You are pretty new to this whole church experience.
•    If you previously attended a church that is dramatically different from Northeast.
•    If you grew up attending church, but really haven’t attended in recent years.
•    If you cannot recall a specific time in your life when you personally asked Jesus to
      be the leader of your life.
•    If you were baptized, but it was not a choice that you made.
•    If you are looking to better understand Christianity and the Abundant Life process.
•    If you just like getting all of the information you can possibly get!

2. STARTING POINT FOR TRANSFERS – this one week class is designed for those transferring to Northeast from a similar church experience.

Attend Starting Point for Transfers if …
•    You just moved to Louisville and you were active in church in your previous location.
•    You came to Northeast from another church in the area where you were active.
