Abortion Recovery Group

This confidential group meets for about 12 weeks whenever there are 2 to 4 women who are in need of support.  It is led by a Northeast Christian Care Team member who has experienced abortion and has led many women through recovery.  A positive, Christian curriculum is used and women are given the opportunity to tell their stories and come to healing.  Contact Debbie Ramsey at dramsey@salemradiogroup.com for a confidential referral to this group. 

Miscarriage Support

Many women suffer silently through miscarriage, often with their husbands grieving as well and unable to give all the support they need.  Kelly Brown, Northeast Christian Team member has a one-on-one ministry to offer support by phone, email and personal contact.  Contact Kelly Brown at kellymorinebrown@yahoo.com for a confidential referral to this ministry.

Alcoholism and Addiction

Northeast Christian Church's response to addictions include an A.A. meeting that meets at our church each week.  Contact Jay Close, Pastoral Care Minister, at 212-5209 or jay.close@necchurch.org for a confidential referral.

Job Seekers or Job Leads

If you know of "job leads" or you are a "job seeker", contact Joan Nelson at  joan.nelson@necchurch.org.

We help direct and counsel people in regards to the vocation path that they are seeking.  We review resumes, help with interview techniques, and discuss paths to land the job.

Financial Coaching

Are you struggling with your finances or simply need help building a monthly budget?  Are you willing to seek help with a Money Coach?  Our Money Coaches are well trained to teach money management from a Christian viewpoint. Caring Hands Ministry

The Caring Hands Ministry can help individuals review their financial situation and may be able to offer financial assistance with rent/mortgage, utility payments, groceries, medical expenses and car repair. Visitation Team

This group of trained volunteers visits people in hospitals, nursing homes and at homes. They send cards and make calls. This group takes the love of Christ and makes it real to people who are hurting and often alone. For more information contact jay.close@necchurch.org.

Kitchen Angels

Kitchen Angels is a team of volunteers who love to prepare and share food.  They provide food to persons dealing with sickness, grief or other suffering.  People really appreciate getting a meal in difficult times.  When people have needs beyond what their friends can meet or they are not in a group, Kitchen Angels can really help.  For more information contact Joan Nelson at joan.nelson@necchurch.org.

GriefShare

GriefShare is a support group to help people heal from the hurt of grief. The excellent video material supports the group discussion.  Open to people at any stage of grief.  For more information and to register, click here.
