When did you first start attending Northeast and why did you stay?
I started coming to Northeast in middle school while we were still meeting in the previosly existing Chapel. Here I came to know my Savior and I was baptized during a new year's baptism service by Robert G. Cherry in 1988.
After spending 6 years in full-time ministry in other churches I was invited back to be on staff here at Northeast.
What or who inspires you?
My beautiful wife & 3 kiddos, my friends, Coldplay, unlocking achievements on my Xbox360.
What’s your idea of a perfect day?
Wake up around 11, have a berry smoothie with my family, take a private jet to the coast & play in the waves for a couple hours, fly back taking a nap, upon arriving eat a big steak dinner while getting a neck & shoulder massage. Tickle wrestle with my kids and then take my wife on a unicorn flight through rainbows and waterfalls.
What was your first step in getting involved at Northeast?
Playing in the basketball league.
Your biggest indulgence?
Bananna Republic stretchy t-shirts & blueberry blizzards.

What has God been teaching you lately?
God's grace is amazing. I am not.
If you could ask God one question, what would it be?

If you could be on a reality TV show, what would it be?
Wipeout
What or who makes you laugh?
Steven Wright, Seinfeld, and Beavis & Butthead (sorry, it just does).
What is your nickname, and how did you earn it?
Shreve, I've never figured out why people call me that.
What are two things always in your fridge?
Yogurt & frozen burritos
In a few short lines, here is my faith story…
By myself I mess my life up. Jesus has forgiven me & continues to do so, though I don't deserve it. He makes me want to be a better husband, father & man.
