Notes from May 24 LG Ministry Team Meeting

Here are 5 things we agreed need to be done before August 23:

1. Kay’s Team of Connectors completed. She still needs Connectors for Couples, Singles, and General Groups. See Role Description here.
2. Communicate to LG Leaders about Kay and her team and what they do (LifeLines)
   - Also share with them what they can do to help people connect.
   - Make sure all LG Leaders get a directory this fall.
3. Have all Director and Team Leader Positions filled (click on each role to open a job description. If you know someone who may fit one of these, please discuss this with them or let Mike know.):
   - Director over Leadership Support (waiting on response from several people)
   - Team Leader: Connection Groups & Events (one person praying about)
   - Team Leader: Connect Publicity and Promotions 
   - Team Leader: New Group Development (Basic Training)
   - Team Leader: Current Leader Equipping
   - Team Leader: Affinty Groups (Couples/Family Groups; General, Singles, Young Adults Groups)
4. Discover & Develop New Life Group Leaders (going to promote in bulletin, NECCWired, on web site, etc.; lots of one-on-one asks)
   - Discover Leaders to Lead “Felt-Need” Groups: i.e. Parenting Groups after Baby Dedications, Newcomers Groups (after Starting Point and The Christian Life 101), etc.
5. Send letter to leaders in July asking them to open their groups Sept. – end of year 
   - Take “invitation only” groups out of the directory
   - Reminder to wear name tags
   - Be ready to subgroup and/or multiply
