What’s your idea of a perfect day? Taking a boat out for the day with friends and the motion of the water gently rocking the boat. Jumping into the cool water playing and the weightless feeling of the buoyancy the water provides.

What was your first step in getting involved at Northeast? Attending an adult Sunday morning bible study where we meet people we later joined in their small group.

Your biggest indulgence? Our little boat that provides us so much relaxation and rest from daily stress.

What do you think makes a good leader, someone that you’ll follow? For me a good leader is one that is able to encourage and allow those around them the freedom to grow and make mistakes. A leader does not fly solo but respects the strengths of others to support the team. They are someone that is open to the ideas and opinions of the members.

What has God been teaching you lately? That it is about me. The things that happen in my life ARE about how He wants to change me and my heart. The problems in my life aren't about some amazing time in the future that I will use it all for His glory but it is for His glory within me for some amazing time in the future.

What or who makes you laugh? Definitely my girlfriend!
