Here at Northeast, we want to mobilize our people and connect them with our global partners. We hope to expand the capacity of these partners by strategically sending short-term teams abroad.
We believe we experience growth when we see God working among us and play an active role in His mission. Because of that, every Northeast trip seeks to accomplish two goals: to serve others and to achieve personal growth in our trip participants.
We believe every short-term trip requires some degree of teaching and training to best prepare trip participants. Because we believe so strongly in this, every Northeast trip will require participants to attend several team meetings, as well as a team debrief upon return.
Every Northeast trip will have a clearly defined goal or purpose. That being said, it is important for trip participants to recognize this goal may not necessarily produce concrete, measurable results. Much of the success of short-term trips is realized long after the team returns home.Northeast is officially offering two short-term international trips in 2018!
In March, we will be traveling to Haiti to volunteer with an organization called Jasper House.
