The Love Dare Bible Study was developed in response to couples who saw Fireproof the Movie and wanted to explore the material. “Inside burning buildings at work, Capt. Caleb Holt ( Kirk Cameron), lives by the old firefighter’s adage: Never leave your partner behind. At home, in the cooling embers of his marriage, he lives by his own rules. His job is to rescue others. Now Caleb Holt is ready to face his toughest job ever…rescuing his wife’s heart.”
This study provides an 8 week marriage enrichment opportunity combining movie clips and the 40 day Love Dare journal.
Some of the topics include:
- Honoring and Cherishing Your Spouse
- Building your Marriage on Prayer and God’s Word
This study is for you if:
- you have been married 40 years
- you have a good marriage and want to make it great or
- your marriage could use a little spark or
- like Caleb Holt, you are experiencing the cooling embers in your own marriage

The purpose of MERCY is to help couples have healthy and successful marriages. MERCY provides marriage education to individuals and offers workshops to groups or couples to help them grow in their marital relationship.
