When did you first start attending Northeast and why did you stay? My family and I began attending 41/2 years ago when we moved to this side of town. We stayed because we felt like it was where God wanted us to be.
What or who inspires you People who have found God’s purpose for their life and exploring new places.
What was your first step in getting involved at Northeast? Attended Knowing God, Knowing NE, and then joined a life group
Your biggest indulgence? Artwork from places I’ve traveled
What do you think makes a good leader, someone that you’ll follow? Someone who is transparent, honest, courageous, available, and able to cast vision
What has God been teaching you lately? To wait on him
If you could be on a reality TV show, what would it be? American Idol
What or who makes you laugh? My kids!
What are two things always in your fridge? Milk, left-over pizza
In a few short lines, here is my faith story… I was raised in church and don’t remember a time when I didn’t know about God. There have been times when I followed Him closely and other times not so well. I can look back now and see the incredible faith journey that I have been on, getting to know and understand better who God is and stretching and growing my faith as well as my relationship with him.

Describe your job at Northeast, and why you love what you do. I am a member of the Kidville (Children’s Ministry) Team. I LOVE being part of a team that helps kids, families and ministry volunteers grow in their faith and walk with Christ.
How long have you been working at Northeast? 2 years
Retirement dream? A lake house in the mountains somewhere.
What was your first job? Babysitting
What’s one goal you have for the next year? To repaint my bedroom!
Name 3 things on your ‘bucket’ list. Travelling all over Europe, learning how to ski, catching up on my scrapbooking
Husband – Dan, Daughter – Grace, Son – Ben, and a tank full of fish.
Proudest moment? When my children accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior.
