When did you first start attending Northeast and why did you stay?  I started at the very beginning...a very good place to start...and we've stayed because we LOVE Northeast. 

What or who inspires you?  Music and theater inspire me...the Proverbs inspire me.  

What’s your idea of a perfect day?  Getting up around 9 am; eating a good breakfast cooked by my husband; sitting by the ocean; steak for dinner, ending with a good movie.  

What was your first step in getting involved at Northeast?  Being married to the senior pastor  :)  

Your biggest indulgence?  Movie popcorn with extra butter!  

What do you think makes a good leader, someone that you’ll follow?  Someone is passionate, challenges and encourages me  

What has God been teaching you lately?  The more I read His Word, the more I understand about life and Him.  

If you could ask God one question, what would it be?  How do you decide who gets cancer?    

If you could be on a reality TV show, what would it be?  Bachelorette...just kidding!  In "American Idol" audience  

What or who makes you laugh? Carol Burnett shows, According to Jim, my friend Marlene and        my granddaughter Molly.  

What is your nickname, and how did you earn it? (not very creative) Vic, Vicster, Victrola  

What are two things always in your fridge? Diet Coke, strawberry jelly  

In a few short lines, here is my faith story… Reared in a Christian home, my desire was always to serve in ministry--first as a Christian School teacher, then as a missionary.  I had a wonderful youth group that helped me stay strong through my teen years.  I dedicated my life to full-time ministry in high school, then attended Cincinnati Christian University.  God has blessed me beyond my dreams.

•     Bible verse?  Prov. 3:5  Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.

Describe your job at Northeast, and why you love what you do.Creative Arts Director--I get to plan weekend services with the best team ever!    

How long have you been working at Northeast? 12 years  

Retirement dream?  Healthy enough to travel, and be one of those fun grandmas.  

What was your first job? Paperboy (only I was a girl)  

What’s one goal you have for the next year? Every Jan 1 I plan to exercise more, lose weight, and eat at home more.

Describe your family (include pets!):  Husband of 37 years Bob; No Pet...yet!; Daughter Stephanie Haugen, her husband Mark, our grandson Paul and new little baby girl Ellie; Daughter Lindsay Keck and her husband Joey, our granddaughter Molly and their 2 black Labs Hoosier and Elle.  

Proudest moment? Finishing a 3 mile race and not being the last to cross the line!
