Princess Night is designed to be a father/daughter dance environment. The goal is to provide
Cupcake & Cookie Bakers – 16 Volunteers
Responsibilities: Bake 4 dozen decorated cupcakes or cookies for the dance. You may drop them off at church the day before the event.
Set-up Team - 10 Volunteers
Responsibilities: Set-up and decoration of the Gym and potentially decorating the hallway, entry area and cafeteria. The primary goal is to create an environment that does not look like a school, but that looks like a fun, family event. Set-up team should plan to arrive at 4:00 PM on event day.
Food & Drink Team - 6 volunteers
Responsibilities: Serve food and drink in a defined area and help cleaning up at the end of the event. This team will serve from 6:00-9:00 PM.
Door Prize Team - 2 volunteers
Responsibilities: This team is also responsible for arranging and managing the “sign-up” process for door prizes and for working with the DJ throughout the evening to give away the door prizes. This team also helps cleaning up at the end of the event. This team will serve from 6:00-9:00 PM.
Greeter/Floater Team - 4 volunteers
Responsibilities: This team is responsible for providing a welcoming environment as guests arrive. We will ask each person to “sign in” as they arrive so that we have a general idea of how many people attend. This team will also help where needed after our guests have arrived and help cleaning up after the event. This team will serve from 6:00-9:00 PM.
Photo Booth Team - 6 volunteers
Responsibilities: We will have two photo booths. This team will simply assist people in the process of getting their photo made and if people are not getting their photo made, encouraging them to do so. It’s FREE! This team also helps cleaning up at the end of the event. This team will serve from 6:00-9:00 PM.
