Strength. It has always seemed to be a measurement of masculinity - physical strength, emotional strength, intellectual strength. Do you wonder if you’re strong enough? Is that a motivator in your life? Does it hold you back?
We read about strength in the Bible - Moses vs Pharaoh, David vs Goliath, Peter, and Paul vs the Roman Government - and we’re taught to rely on God for strength, to not worry, and pass our cares onto Him. Do we do that, or do we try to create our own strength? What if you didn’t worry about where your strength comes from, or let it hold you back from the person you were created to be?
Summit is a reminder that our greatest strength isn’t our own strength at all. Through hands-on serving, strength-building activities, thought-provoking teaching, we’ll poke fun at the stigmas around strength and help reshape your thinking around strength. You ARE strong, not because of who you are, but because of who He is.
