Maybe you love your church. You love the people. You love the preaching, the singing. You can’t wait to show up to service, and you cherish fellowship with your church friends throughout the week. Or maybe the church is just a place you show up to a couple times a month. You sneak in late, duck out early.
Most people think church membership is like membership in a club. If you want a few extra benefits, or you aspire to be a leader someday, you should sign up. If not, you should feel free to come and go as you please. We’re kicking off a brand new class called Connect, Northeast’s membership class. By attending this class, you will learn about GRACE, our member expectations. These expectations are the 5 ways in which we want you to CONNECT – not only within the walls of our church, but in your community as well. GRACE stands for:
G Giving (of time, talent and money)
R Reaching Out (serving others)
A Attend Service
C Community – Small Groups
Our next class is scheduled for March 19, 2017 in the Student Center Lower Level at 9 AM.
A Word Before You Go...
Before attending Connect we ask that you be prepared to answer YES to both of these questions:
- Have you accepted Jesus as your Savior and Lord?
- Have you been baptized by immersion?
If you answered NO to either of the two questions above, then Starting Point might be the place for you. Click here to learn more about that group experience. If you’re interested in scheduling a baptism, please email Rosemarie Arsenault or call her at 502-212-5248.
