What We’ll Be Doing
We’ll be volunteering with an organization called Jasper House Haiti. Jasper House is a non-profit organization that offers a transitional restoration home, education, therapy and job training to young women in Haiti who have left lives of prostitution, exploitation and abuse. Jasper House seeks to turn oppression, tragedy, and misfortune into opportunities for empowerment and renewal for young women in Haiti. Their vision is to help young women rise above hardship and abuse and become champions of change in their homes, communities and nation.

We need volunteers to help teach an introductory business & finance course to the women of Jasper House.  We also need medical professionals to perform well-checks on the women and teach medical classes to them.  Aside from those tasks, we simply need volunteers who are comfortable spending quality time with the women – sharing stories of strength and success.

For more information on Jasper House Haiti, visit their website, Facebook page, or Instagram account.
