Life can be complicated, and you want to get it right. We’re here to help you take back control of your time and attention so that you can take back control of your heart and mind.
The goal is to help you unplug from the voices of this world so you can plug into the voice of God.
Each week, you’ll be invited to participate by:
- Reading a devotion on a spiritual rhythm that Christians have engaged with for centuries to practice being with God.
- Responding to a few reflection questions
- Engaging with an idea to practice that rhythm for the week
These practices are simple, shame-free, and approachable for anyone. Whether you’re established in your spiritual rhythms or you’re just starting out, this series hopes to offer you a new mindset towards spiritual practices that will help you mature into a fully-formed disciple of Jesus.
If you commit to creating Unhurried Rhythms in your life, it’s our prayer that you’ll live unburdened by burnout and flourish in your walk along the Way of Jesus.
If you would like to use this resource in a self-paced Course format, please click here to make an account and access with Teachable. It’s all of the same content, but you can track your progress.

Weekly Sermons & Devotions
Each week of teaching will help you understand the practices of these “Unhurried Rhythms”. You can listen to the week’s teaching and participate in the devotional and reflection through the links below.
Week One: The Way Of Spiritual Deformation
Take back control of your time and attention so that you can take back control of your heart and mind.
Week Two: How to Practice Prayer
“Praying without ceasing” isn’t spending 24/7 in a prayer closet. It’s living in two dimensions at once, where heaven and earth meet in your soul and in your life.
Week Three: Scripture Part 1
There’s a difference between the “imaginary Bible” and the “real Bible”. Which one are you reading (or not)?
Week Four: Scripture Part 2
Bible Study doesn’t have to be complicated. Learn how to study Scripture today with the “Alive method”.
Week Five: Silence and Solitude
Learn to silence the constant noise of technology and tune in to silence and solitude with the Lord.
Week Six: Sabbath
Jesus lived life on mission, but unhurried. We’re invited to do the same through regularly practicing Sabbath.
Week Seven: Fellowship
In a world that values and celebrates individuality, standing alone, and being self-sufficient, God is still calling us to a life of fellowship with other believers.
Week Eight: Communion
In order to experience the fullness that God intends us to enjoy during communion, we have to step back and remember where the practice originates.
Along with the weekly devotional content, we have curated a list of books to help put your Unhurried Rhythms practices into place.
