This weekend’s Worship & Prayer Service focused on the dedication of the year 2026 to God, centered on two questions:
- What do I want from God this year?
- What does God want from me?
The message reminded us that what we all ultimately desire from God is His blessing, and that this desire is not selfish but deeply aligned with God’s heart. Through Scripture, we were reminded that Jesus blesses us before we do anything for Him. God’s love and favor are not earned through performance, striving, or spiritual achievement, but are freely given because we belong to Him.
As the service continued, the focus shifted toward our response to God in the new year. Drawing from Proverbs, we were challenged to let go of self-reliance and choose a life of wisdom, trust, and dependence on the Lord. Acknowledging past failures and unmet goals, we were encouraged not to live in shame, but to step into 2026 with renewed faith, collectively dedicating this year to God, trusting Him to lead us with wisdom, security, and grace.
